Jeffrey Alan McNeill was born January 4, 1962 in Fort Dix, New Jersey. He died January 4, 2023 in Tarboro, North Carolina surrounded by his loved ones. He spent 47 years of his life as a carpenter, heavily dedicated to his craft. He's loved NASCAR all his life, he spent 30 years racing on and off. He has spent the last 9 years growing and cultivating meaningful relationships through his involvement in Narcotics Anonymous (N/A).

He is preceded in death by his mother Geraldine McNeill and his sister Sharon Mellender.

He leaves behind his 8 children; Joseph Zaid (Stacey, Adelyn), Jamil Zaid (Madison, Bren, and Jack), Gregory McNeill (Teagan), Jonathan McNeill (Shannon, Ayden, and Madison) Melinda Bunn (Charles, Charlize, Callie, Chloë) Chase McNeill, Kendall McNeill, and Shelby McNeill. He also leaves behind the mothers of his children Jean Bolt and Aprile McNeill. Along with his life partner Bonnie Voss and his 5 step-children, 12 step-grandchildren, and 2 great step-grandchildren. As well as his mother-in-law Rosalie VanLowe (Bill) and his sister-in-law Mary Ryan (Gerrit).

Throughout his life he created meaningful relationships much like family. Steve Ward (sponsor), Dean Best (lifelong friend) and Leslie Boyd (lifelong friend) were brothers to Jeff, helping him grow and find strength in one of the most difficult times in his life.

There will be no Wake or Funeral. The Family will have a Celebration of Life at a date yet to be determined.
