Jerry Wayne Briley, 65, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Christine Whitfield; father, James Edward Briley; stepfather, Charlie Whitfield; sister, Nancy Blanco; and stepsister.

He is survived by his sisters, Pauline Casper, Ophelia Scott and husband, Glenn, Janie Ruth Powell and husband Darwin, and 2 stepsisters; brothers, Bud Briley and wife Betsy, Jesse Lee Briley, Clayton Briley and wife Susan, Russell Briley and wife Lisa, and 2 stepbrothers; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends. He is also survived by a very special friend and father figure, Frank Williams (Bossman), he and his daughters (Nikki and Amy) have cared for and loved Jerry Wayne as their own. Our family will always be grateful to you.

Visitation will be 2:00 - 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Heritage FWB Church, Bethel, NC with the funeral service following at 3:00 PM with Rev. Walter Summerlin officiating the service. Burial will follow at Bethel City Cemetery.
