Jesse Bullock, 83, of Tarboro NC, passed away on June 12, 2021.

Funeral service will be held at Carlisle Funeral Home at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Burial will follow in Barr Family Cemetery, 897 Holland Road, Greenville, NC.

Jesse was born in Pitt County on May 8, 1938 to Joe and Lily Bullock.

He was an exceptional hunter and fisherman. He loved the great outdoors and he loved the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jesse Ray Bullock; brother, Joe Henry Bullock; brother, Frank Bullock; sister, Frances Owens Taylor; father, Joe Bullock; mother, Lily Bullock.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Bullock of Tarboro; sister, Pattie Jean Bullock Pittman and husband, Richard of Garner; grandchildren: Jessica Medford and husband John Wesley of Rocky Mount, their kids, John Wesley and Julien; Melinda Bullock of Pinetops, April Stallings and husband Michael Blake Stallings of Elm City and their children, Mackenzie Lou and Dustin Ray; Zachary Bullock of Pinetops and a special niece who was like a grand-daughter as well, Deborah Bell Vick, of Belvoir.
