Jo Anna Harrell, 67, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 .

Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 2:00 pm, First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Roland Harrell and Reverend Bobby Forehand officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at the church.

Jo Anna was born in Pitt County to Thomas A. and Ruby Whitfield, September 5, 1954. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Harrell. Jo Anna was a member of Tarboro First Pentecostal Holiness. She loved the Lord, family, and friends. She enjoyed posting on Facebook where she meet and made many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her fiancée, Leon Wilson; daughter, Stacie Wilson (Curtis Franklin Wilson II); son, Jeremy Harrell. Grandchildren, Ethan Pittman (Angel), U.S. Army Pvt. Jacob L. Pittman, Emily Kroll, Greyson Harrell, and Ashton Xavier Harrell. Sisters, Kay Campbell, Gail Hale (Donald) and Grace Hopkins (Herbert).
