Joan Denton Pridgen, 68, passed away Tuesday, May 4th, 2021

Joan was a mother, grandmother, soon to be great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Joan spent her life as a beautician in Pinetops, North Carolina, owned and operated Joan's Beauty Shop where she met and formed relationships with many. She enjoyed time with her family, cleaning her house and perfecting her yard.

Joan is preceded in death by her Mother, Edna and Father, John Wallace (Sammy) Farmer, Brother, Sammy Ray Farmer and loving Husband Tim Pridgen.

Joan leaves behind to cherish her memory, her Son and Daughter-in-Law Bryan and Debbie Denton, Daughter Tonya Wilcox and future son-in-law Greg Owens, Granddaughter and Grandson-in-law, Brittani and Ethan Strickland, Grandson Zackeri Wilcox, Sister and Brother-in-law Wanda and Tim Taylor, Sister-in-law Margie Farmer, and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held at Carlisle Funeral Home, Thursday, May 6th from 6-8pm. Funeral service held at Falkland Church of God Friday, May 7th at 1:00 pm with graveside service to follow at Jackson Family Cemetery in Pinetops.
