John Quinton Fields, 63, passed away Monday April 26, 2021. Quinton spent most of his life on the road as a truck driver, he loved traveling the country and telling you about all the places he had been. He will be remembered by his big , booming laugh and that shaggy hair. He was a provider and was always there for anyone in need. His favorite people called him Papa!!

Quinton was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Medford, his stepfather, Larry Medford, his father, John Henry Fields Jr. and his brother, Anthony Medford.

Quinton leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 24 years, Cindy Fields, his stepdaughters: Elizabeth Abrams (Scott) of Rocky Mount , NC, Jennifer Webb, Rocky Mount, NC, Stepson: Timothy Webb (Mandy) of Avon Park, Fla., his sisters: Terry Hux, Nola Meeks, Sarah Medford, and Chris Medford, His brothers: Thomas Fields and Phillip Medford. Quinton also leaves his grandchildren and great grandchildren that were the apple of his eye: Amber, Tyler B. , Nathan, Alyssa, Cody, Brylee, Matthew, Sierra, Brigitta, Trinity, Mackenzie, Tyler M., Travis, Haley , Casey, Jayden and Leland.

The family will receive friends and family at Carlisle Funeral Home on April 30, 2021 from the hours of 10 am until 11 am with a Celebration of John's Life being held in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home at 11 am.

Quinton also leaves behind many friends! To know him was to love him.
