John Allen Worrell, 73, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

There will be a memorial service held at West Edgecombe Baptist Church, NC-43, Rocky Mount, NC on Friday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. in Edgecombe Memorial Park, Tarboro. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home on Saturday.

John honorably served in the United States Army. He was the owner/manager of Rocky Mount Termite and Pest Control.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Allen Worrell and Tiny Lee Worrell; wife, Jonsie Medlin Worrell.

He leaves behind a loving family including his children, Jerry Worrell (Shirley), Rebecca Griffin (Mike), Sarah Wallace (Brent), Jason Worrell (Nicole); grandchildren, Trevor Worrell, Janie Wallace, Connor Allen Worrell Griffin, Freddy Coley, Charley Coley; and great-grandson, Hank Allen Coley; sister, Valeria Howell (Phillip).

The family will also be receiving friends at the home of Brent and Sarah Wallace, 359 Saw Mill Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Proctor's Chapel Baptist Church, 2917 Old Wilson Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.
