Johnnie Rodford Carson, 79, passed away on November 2, 2026 surrounded by his family.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Wilbur Carson and Pearl Everette Carson; and brother, Wayne Carson.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debra Forrest Carson; daughter, Judy Carson Caton (Phil); grandchildren, Phillip Ray Caton Jr. (Amber) and Brian Carson Caton (Kimberly); great grandchildren, Carson Caton, Landon Caton, Caleb Caton, and Harper Caton; siblings, Linda Deanes, Jimmie Carson (Lou), Becky Carson, and Ann Peaden; niece, Gray Jackson; and nephew, Brad Peaden.

A Graveside service celebrating Johnnie's life will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 2 PM in the Bethel City Cemetery with the Rev Jessie Blalock officiating.
