Johnnie H. Pittman, 92, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at his home.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021, 1:00 pm, Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Macclesfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 1:00 pm Tuesday at Carlisle Funeral Home.

Johnnie was born in Edgecombe County, October 19, 1928 to Charlie Hines and Mary Pittman. He enjoyed life, family, friends, always had a smile and pocket full of candy to share with everyone. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Poole; sister, Ruby Pittman Abrams and her husband, Roy; brother Charlie Pittman, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth.

He is survived by his loving family, including his wife of 72 years, Daisy Lee Pittman, daughters, Jean Pittman Greene and Sharon Pittman Jones and her husband, Len; son, Greg Pittman and his wife, Scarlett; grandchildren, Johnny Ray Bell (Marie), Teresa Lynn Bell (Rachael Orlander), step-grandchildren, Michael Jones (Dawn) and Wesley Jones (Karen); several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; great-great-great-grandchildren.
