Johnny Lewis Thompson, Jr. "Skipper", age 65, passed away on October 18, 2021. Skipper was born on January 10, 1956 in Edgecombe County to Johnny Lewis Thompson and Sue Lockyer Brown.

Skipper leaves behind his devoted wife of 43 years, Janice, to cherish his memories.

He also leaves his loving children, Jamie Turner, Johnny Lewis Thompson, III (J.T), and daughter-in-law, Ashley Thompson.

Skipper adored his beautiful grandchildren; Ben Turner, Claire Turner, Ivy Thompson, and Johnny Lewis Thompson, IV (Lewis).

Skipper will also be greatly missed by a host of friends and extended relatives, especially his buddy, Al Keel.

As Skipper had a huge heart and rescued many animals with Janice over the years, it is only fitting that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tender Mercies Pet Organization at P.O. Box 249, Macclesfield, NC 27852.
