Joseph Lannie Coppock Sr., born on July 4th, 1947, peacefully passed away on February 12th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Preceding him in death are his beloved mother Margaret Coppock, father Darry Coppock, and brothers Junie Coppock and Buddy Coppock.

He is survived by his cherished sisters Renee Elliot (husband Jim), Tina Whitehurst (husband David), and Peggy Wainright (husband Leon), as well as his adored daughters Rachel Scott (husband Freddy) and Michelle Coppock Mitchell (husband Talmadge), and son Joseph Coppock Jr (wife Jessica), as well as nieces and nephews.

Joseph leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion as a doting grandfather to Karla McGary (husband Luke), Fred Scott III, Adylin Scott, Riley Scott, Athena Waters (husband Wayne), Victor Mitchell, Austin Coppock, and Haley Coppock. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Lexi McGary, Luna McGary, Brody Waters, Summer Waters, Emma Waters, and Grayson Waters.

Joseph proudly served his country as a Veteran and dedicated his career to Eastern Petroleum, where he worked as a respected installation professional until retirement.

He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his unwavering kindness, strength, and generous spirit. Joseph's legacy of love will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
