Mr. Joseph "Joey" Frank Coker, II passed away on June 7th, 2022, at his home.

Joey was born in Pitt County on February 25th, 1987, to his parents Joseph Frank Coker and Vicky S. Powell.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Dennis Ray Powell and niece, Kristina Dawn Coker.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his four children, Makayla Coker, Kaden, Chanler and Teegan Coker, sisters, Angie Moore (Charlie) and Wendy & Greg Hathaway. Nieces and Nephews, Brittney Elliott, Charlie Moore Jr, Melissa Hathaway and Michael Hathaway. Great Nieces, Alyssa Elliott, Addie Merchant and Great Nephew Jayden Cobb. Special Cousins, Reva Coker and Stacy Stewart. Along with several other family members and several very amazing friends. Special friend Henderson Rose.

To know Joey was to love him. He had a good heart and a great sense of humor. He liked to make people laugh. He loved his children and enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved fishing.

Our hearts are broken, as we have suffered a tremendous loss. We are grateful for all the kindness that has been shown to our beloved Joey!

A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 2 Pm in the Chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home with the family receiving friends and family one hour before the service. The interment will follow the service at the Pineview Cemetery, Pinetops NC.

The family will receive friends after the services at the home of Wendy and Greg Hathaway, 4723 NC Hwy 111 S., Macclesfield, NC.
