Joyce Taylor Robbins, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Brentwood Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Reverend Paul Mobley officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Joyce was born in Edgecombe County on August 5, 1949 to the late Mamie Ruth and William Lester "Pete" Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-brother, William Pigg; sister, Iver "Tootsie" Taylor; aunt, Rosa Lee Joyner; and grandson, William Alex Strickland.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, sons, Jimmy Strickland, Jr. William David "Billy" Strickland and wife Pat, Douglas Robbins II and wife Machelle; daughter, Barbie Crews and husband Jay; grandchildren, Julia Robbins, Jodi Robbins, Lucas Crews, Samuel Crews; and a host of extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends on Friday at Carlisle Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM and other times Saturday at the church starting at 1:00 PM.
