Judy Elizabeth Harrell Parker, 81, of Oak City and Tarboro, NC, joined Jesus on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Praise God, she is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Larry Lee Parker, Sr., mother, Julia Harrell (Thurman), mother-in-law, Ida Belle Parker (Homer), sister, Daisy Harris, brother, Johnny Harrell, and many other loved ones.

Judy was a devoted mother to Larry Parker (Tina), David Parker (Kathy), Anita Briley (Donnie), Annette Worrell (Greg), and Julie House (Greg). She deeply loved her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her much joy. Her life was also richly blessed by wonderful times shared with her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Surviving siblings include Alton (Papa) Harrell, Cliff Harrell, Donnie Harrell, Mike Harrell, Dianne Boseman, Dollie Bland, Terry Hardison, and Tammy Bullock.

Judy's interests reflected her vibrant spirit. She had so much fun traveling with her brothers and sisters, collecting memories and stories along the way. Fishing with her family brought her peace and laughter whether they caught anything or not. Crafting filled her home with warmth and creativity, and blessed those around her. She was a longtime member of Merritts Chapel Church and actively involved in her community. Judy's faith in Jesus guided her daily, shaping the woman she was and the legacy she leaves behind.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 14, at Carlisle Funeral Home in Tarboro. A memorial service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Terry Hardison officiating. Burial will be at the Oak City Cemetery.
