Judy Owens Proctor, 64, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her home.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 at 11:00 am, Pinetops Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Macclesfield Cemetery.

Judy graduated from South Edgecombe High School and attended Edgecombe Community College. She worked as an operating room technician and later went back to school to become a RN nurse. She worked for forty years as a nurse in several hospitals and as a home healthcare nurse. She made many friends in the healthcare field and loved helping others. Someone told us one day that she was an angel sent from God. Nursing was her calling, but she had a great love for her Lord Jesus Christ. She faithfully served the Lord, family and friends. Judy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving family, including her husband, Jimmy Proctor; son, Jeffrey Proctor; grandsons, Jeffrey Proctor, Jr and Brady Proctor; sister, Sandra Lynn and husband, Billy; many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, Sally Proctor, Linda Howlett, Doris Chappell; brother-in-law, Luther Proctor;

Family will receive friends at Pinetops Baptist Church, Friday May 28, 2021 from 10:00–11:00 am.
