Judy Faye Spence Bridgers, 81, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The family will receive friends and family 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Brentwood Pentecostal Holiness Church on September 4, 2025 with the Service being held at 2:00 p.m. in the Church.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Mary Inez Spence; son, Roy Lee Bridgers Jr.; and siblings, Inez Shipley (Dwayne), Aubrey Spence, Betty Lancaster (Woody), Shirley Simmons (Muriel), Mary Virginia Leonard (James), and Evelyn Lamm (Robie).

She is survived by her husband, Roy Bridgers Sr.; daughter, Tonya Bridgers (Olav Seimer); son, Stewart (Andrea); daughter-in-law, Sarah; grandchildren, Jonathan Bridgers and Lilly Bridgers, Ashey Davis (Junior) and Ricky Davis; great-grandchildren, Estrella, Jacob and Joshua Oviedo Davis; sister, Rae Boykin (Alferd) and many special nieces and nephews.

Judy was born in Wilson County and later moved to Edgecombe County when she met and married Roy. She worked at Glenoit then later became a self-employed beautician. Judy loved Jesus and her most prize possession, her family. Judy loved attending church and fellowshipping with her friends and receiving/sending cards with words of encouragement. Judy loved cooking and was known for her blueberry, and caramel biscuits and other tasty desserts.

A special thank you to ECU Edgecombe Hospital, Gentiva Hospice and friends and family for the support, calls, food and visits during this difficult time. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
