Judy Renee Wadsworth, 59, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Maxine; brother, Curtis; and sister, Tammy.

Judy is survived by her brother, Robert of Elm City; 2 nieces, Samantha of Macclesfield and Heather of Elm City; 2 nephews, Steven of Crisp and Brandon of Battleboro; 2 great nieces, Alleeah and Annie of Macclesfield; 4 great nephews, Dylan, Chris, Kelly, and Dalton of Elm City; and several cousins.

Judy had a special gift for making everyone laugh and bringing joy to those around her. She adored her beloved dogs, Angel and Bandit, who held a special place in her heart. And if you knew Judy, you knew you could almost always find her with a cold Mountain Dew in her hand, a simple pleasure that became one of her signature trademarks.

Visitation will be 2:00 - 4:00 pm at her home, 306 B East Green Street, Macclesfield, NC 27852, on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Carlisle Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Duncan officiating the service.
