Kenneth B. Bullock, 85 died at his home on Thursday, June 10, 2021. He was born May 17, 1936 in Martin County, NC, the son of the late Nathan Andrew and Tessie Taylor Bullock.

Kenneth met and married the love of his life, Betsy F. Griffin December 30, 1960. They lived the first 9 years of their life in Martin County before moving to Edgecombe County on May 30, 1969, where they still resided.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother James T. Bullock. Surviving are his wife Betsy G. Bullock and daughter Ramona Jalene Bullock, sisters Kay Karandanis, Hope Johnson and brother Nathan (Bud) Bullock and wife Shelby, sister-in-law Wanda Waters and husband Wayne and several nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was a humble Christian man and faithful member of Penders Chapel Missionary Baptist Church who served the Lord in various positions including Deacon, Trustee, Sunday school Superintendent and teacher as well as mentor to young Christians. He loved to sing and listen to Southern Gospel Music. He sang bass for two different Penders Chapel mixed quartets, The Sing Alongs and Spiritual Strings.

He worked for Long Manufacturing and Long Equipment Company for 38 years as well as Lilley International. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and traveling.

The funeral service will be held at Penders Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Howard Avenue Extension, Tarboro, NC on June 11, 2021 at 7:00pm with visitation to follow the service. Burial service is to follow June 12, 2021 at Tice Community Cemetery, Williamston, NC at 11:00am Weather permitting.
