Kenneth Nelson Ellis, Jr., age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Ken was a loving and compassionate husband, son, father, Pop Pop, co-worker, and friend. He was a dedicated family man who cherished his family and friends. He was very involved with his community and church. He retired from South Edgecombe Rural Fire Department as a volunteer fireman. He was also an avid fisherman and loved the hobby.

Survived by his loving family including his wife of 34 years, Lynette Ellis; his mother Frances Ellis; two daughters whom he loved and cherished dearly, Stephanie Bullard of Macclesfield and Kelly, husband Matt Owens of Macclesfield; two grandsons: Nelson Fletcher and Henry Maverick Bullard.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 5th, at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Reverend Carroll Bradbury officiating. Burial will follow in the Moseley Family Cemetery, 258 South, Crisp, NC. Visitation with friends will start at 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home on Thursday.
