Kenzie Dale Smith, 73, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

He was born in Nash County on September 9, 1949 to the late Robert and Hazel Joyner Smith.

Dale was a very devoted man to his family, his friends, his work and most importantly to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was highly thought of by everyone he ever met and worked with. His character was a shining example of who he was as a man and a Christian.

He is survived by his wife Julia Smith, step-son James Webb and daughter Gay Lynn Pollard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday in the chapel of Carlisle Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home from 1:00 until service time on Saturday.
