Larry Wayne Scott, 63, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lettie Iona Scott; brother Daniel Earl Scott; and niece Shannon Renee Brantley.

He is survived by his father, J.D. Scott, sisters: Kathy S. Eller, Ramona Kay Howard (James), Christina Scott-Perry (Jay); and brother Terry Lee Scott (Patty). He has numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry was a loving son, brother, Uncle, and a hard worker. He worked at Longs Manufacturing for 30 yrs. He was a loyal friend to many and always stood by his beliefs. He loved fishing and watching Nascar racing and football with family. He will be missed by his family and friends. Rest in peace, you will always be in our hearts.

The family will be receiving friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, from the hours of 6 until 8 PM.

A graveside service will be held at Edgecombe Memorial Park on Friday, November 18, at 11:00 AM with the Rev Johnny Hendricks officiating.
