Larry T. Sugg, 70, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, N.C.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 20, 2019 in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Larry enjoyed life with his family, friends and especially his fur baby, Bridgette. He also enjoyed his job and coworkers at Modern Lighting Protection Electrical of Greenville, where he would climb to great heights to install lighting Rods and other items to protect large building from damages resulting from electrical storms.

Larry was born in Pitt County to Marvin and Martha Lee Sugg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Faye Sugg; and a brother James Marvin Sugg.

He is survived by his loving family, including his daughter, Alicia Whitehurst and her fiancé, Shannon Keith Douglas; granddaughter, Georgianna Whitehurst; brother, Jimmy Lee Sugg and wife, Addie; and his fur friend, Bridgette.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00–2:00pm.
