Lena Wagner Doughtie went to be with her Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of August 26, 2022.  She loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all heart, all her soul, and all her mind.  A gentle soul, she was and is dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Bessie Wagner, her brothers Walter, Billy and William Wagner and her sister Dorothy Dawson. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Harry Doughtie, daughter Michelle Doughtie Baker of Tarboro, sons Michael Doughtie (Rhonda), and Mark Doughtie (Jennifer), all of Greenville , foster-sister Doris Robinson of California, and the apples of her eyes were two granddaughters, Natalie Baker and Merritt Doughtie.

There will be a service of Witness To The Resurrection at Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church in Tarboro on Tuesday, August 30th at 11:00 a.m.  A reception will follow in the Burns Fellowship Hall immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Howard Memorial or your favorite charity.
