LeNeve Womble Byrd, 81, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Fountains of The Albemarle.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 2:00 pm, First Baptist Church with Pastor Lamont Hemminger officiating. Burial will follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park.

LeNeve was a member of First Baptist Church of Tarboro. She retired from Tarboro School System after many years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Annie Sue Womble.

She is survived by her loving family, including her husband of 60 years, Ronald Byrd; daughter, Karen Briley and her husband, Carl; son, Ronnie Byrd and his wife, Melanie; brother, Mike Womble and his wife, Lynda; grandchildren, Tim Byrd and wife, Bracey, Matt Byrd, Courtney Briley, Cameron Briley, Connor Briley, Cailyn Briley and Collin Briley; great-grandchildren, Parker Byrd, Isabella Byrd and Adalee Byrd.

If desired, in lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to First Baptist Church, 605 Main St., Tarboro, N.C.

The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church, Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 12:30 – 1:45 pm and other times at the home, 1411 Captains Rd. Tarboro.
