Mr. Lewis Norville Wells, of Macclesfield, passed away in the Vidant Edgecombe Hospital on November 25, 2017.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00pm in the Wells Family Cemetery.

Lewis was raised and lived in Old Sparta NC and worked at Edgecombe Casket Company for over 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mark and Minnie N Wells.

Lewis is survived by his sister, Jackie Manning; brother, Mark Harold Wells Sr. and wife Barbara; nieces, Carol Penwell and Tiffany Turner; nephews, Mark Wells Jr., Michael Wells and Tyler Manning; and 13 great nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday from 6:00-8:00pm at Carlisle Funeral Home other times at the home of his niece, Carol Penwell, 6953 Colonial Road, Old Sparta.
