Linda Bass Lancaster, 71, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021, with her family by her side.

She was born in Edgecombe County on December 6, 1949 to the late William "Jack" Bass and Reba Webb Bass.

She is survived by her devoted husband, John E. Lancaster, married 52 years. Her loving family include her children: Tammy Lancaster Powell (Brent), J.E. Lancaster (Melissa), Mike Lancaster (Lisa).  Her pride and joy; her grandchildren:  Ashley Powell, Allison Lancaster, Alec Powell, Kaleb Lancaster, and Mallory Lancaster. She is also survived by her sister, Cathy Bass Cobb, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews and many loyal friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Lancaster Family Cemetery on Wood Duck Road with Pastors Jesse Baker and Mike Edmondson officiating.
