Linda Joyner Browning, age 77, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2020.  She was the daughter of the late Hubert Joyner and the late Rosa Lee Joyner of Tarboro, North Carolina.

She retired from Halifax County Social Services with thirty years where she touched many lives and made numerous life-long friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Joyner Weaver.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her three children: Cissy Branch (Frank), Hope Hardy, (Steve, deceased), and Robbie Browning: her grandchildren; Nellary Moody (Chris), Gabe Branch (Meredith), Stephanie Pool (Quentin), Andrew Hardy, Rachel Hardy, Hannah Browning, and Caroline Browning, and five great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her special friend, and ex-husband, Bobby Joe Browning, her cousins, and her nieces.
