Lionel Salvador “Chavo” Barajas, 47 años, de Lake Placid, Florida murió el 22 de Agosto 2026. Nacido el 19 de Enero 1979 en Avon Park, Florida a sus padres Rafael Barajas-Chavez y Alicia Navarro Gil, Lionel fue criado en Lake Placid Florida y se graduó de Lake Placid High School. Después de terminar sus estudios trabajo como agricultor con John F Smoak and Sons, Inc en Florida y después con Harrell-Owen’s Farms, Boseman Farms, Pitt Farms, Scott’s Farms, May Farms y Conetoe Creek Farms en Norte Carolina. Fuera de su trabajo era un aficionado a los deportes, FSU Seminoles y FC Barcelona fueron sus equipos preferidos desde su infancia. Le gustaban las trocas con rines bonitos y sistemas de sonido para escuchar su música favorita en especial el Rock. Le sobrevive su esposa Amparo Barajas; hijo Luis Barajas; sus padres Rafael y Alicia; hermanas Anna Barajas, Adrianna Barajas, Beverly Carmona y Yvette Barajas; y sus fieles compañeros caninos Gloria, Estela, Joe, y Manny. Los servicios serán el 28 de Agosto 2026 a partir de las 3:00pm en la Funeraria Carlisle localizada en 701 Hospital Drive Tarboro, Norte Carolina 27886.

Lionel Salvador “Chavo” Barajas, 47, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away August 22, 2026. Born on January 19,1979 in Avon Park, Florida to Rafael Barajas-Chavez and Alicia Navarro Gil, Lionel grew up in Lake Placid, Florida. He graduated from Lake Placid High School and went on to work in agriculture in Florida with John F Smoak and Sons Inc. and in North Carolina with Harrell-Owens Farms, Boseman Farms, Pitt Farm, Scott Farm, May Farm, and Conetoe Creek Farm. Beyond his career he was an avid sports fan, FSU Seminoles and FC Barcelona were his favorite teams since he was a little boy. He loved trucks with nice rims and a good stereo system to listen to all his favorite music especially rock. He is survived by his wife Amparo Barajas; their son Luis Barajas; parents Rafael and Alicia; four sisters Anna Barajas, Adrianna Barajas, Beverly Carmona and Yvette Barajas; their dogs Gloria, Estela, Joe, and Manny. A memorial service and visitation will be held on August 28, 2026 at 3:00pm at Carlisle Funeral Home located at 701 Hospital Drive Tarboro NC, 27886.
