Lois Morris Lewis "Teensy", 86, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM in Macclesfield Cemetery on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 with Rev. Jason Braswell officiating.

She was born in Edgecombe County on May 9, 1935 to the late Julius C. and Lina Thorne Morris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Holt L. Lewis; sisters, Katherine Moore, Judy Corbett, Annette Morris, Darlene Briley; brothers, Bobby Morris, Philip Ray Morris, Bruce Morris, Louis Glenn Morris, Lennie Morris; and brother-in-law, Patrick C. Lewis.

She is survived by her loving family which includes her daughter, Gloria L. Sain (Danny); granddaughter, Heather E. Sain and special friend Shante; great-grandchildren, Cody W. Thorne, Josephine M. Thorne and Mattison R. Thorne; sister-in-law, Naomi Tugwell; sisters, Carol Jo Deal, Edith Owens, Geraldine Rogers (Ruben); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Teensy loved her family with all her heart. Her family and friends loved her so much, and she was easy to love. She enjoyed working whether it was at home in the yard, on the farm, or just cooking for her family and friends.

Thank you to all the many family members and friends that have stood by her in so many ways and provided support through this journey. So many acts of kindness you have given to her. A special thanks to his adopted grandson, Chandler Lindsey for his hard work, love and special visits. Many thanks to Bobby Jean for the friendship and care you have shown.
