Louise Lynch Denny, 91, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.

Louise was born in Edgecombe County on November 30, 1928 to John Frank Lynch and Martha Elizabeth O'Neal Lynch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Turner Denny, Jr.; sisters, Lucinda Ruffin, Sarah Fields, brothers, Frank Lynch, Doug Lynch; and son-in-law, Josh Cummings.

She is survived by her loving family including her son Ray Denny and wife Teresa; daughter Barbara Louise Cummings, of Pinetops; brother Donald Ray Lynch and wife Mattie Ruth, of Tarboro; grandchildren, Steven Denny, April Denny, Ashley Denny Turner and husband Shawn, Kim Cummings; great-grandchildren, Austin Turner, Jackson Denny, Paisley Teel, and Brayden Stokes.

For many years Mrs. Denny could be found at Marrow-Pitt Hardware. She enjoyed waiting on everybody and did it with a heartfelt smile. She retired from Marrow-Pitt after 45 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of Penders Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.
