Louise Braddy Thompson was born in Edgecomb County on July 2, 1942, to the late Travis and Ada Braddy.

She is survived by her sister, Ethel Tew (Carlton Tew/"Brother" as she called him). She was married to the late Steve Thompson. They were blessed with two children, Susan Pearce (Scott Pearce) and Darren Thompson. She became a proud grandmother of two grandchildren, Daniel Bradley (Ashley) and Heather Bradley. She had one great grandson, Isaiah Bradley. She is survived by many nephews and nieces.

Louise loved to take family trips, and it was not so much about where she was going as it was who she was going with. She loved her family.

Louise was a member of The Word of Life International Church. During this time, she went on many mission trips. She became an ordained minister within the Pentecostal Church. She was the founder of Living Truth Ministries where she fed the hungry, clothed the poor and provided for the homeless. She was a prayer warrior and truly exemplified Christ.
