Luther Thomas Lewis went to his heavenly home on October 26, 2023. He was surrounded by his family when he took his last breath.

He had 88 good years on this earth. He was a loving, father, and grandfather, but most of all he was a hardworking man and spent his life taking care of everyone. He was the firstborn of Wilton and Sadie Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 68 years, Susie Lewis, and his son Michael Lewis.

He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Susan and Joey Minner, his grandchildren whom he thought the world of, Amanda and Tyler Hobgood and Jae Li Minner, his brothers Kenneth and Ronnie Lewis and many cousins who visited him often.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:30 at the Webbs Chapel Church following the graveside service on November 4, 2023, with the family receiving friends and family following the memorial service at the church.

The family will receive friends at his home on November 3, 2023

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or  Webb's Chapel Church
