Margaret Strickland Forrest, 91, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at St. James United Methodist Church with Rev. Nathan Whitman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro.

Margaret was born in Greensboro, N C., August 19, 1927 to William and Jennie Knight.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Strickland and Earl Forrest; son, Ronnie Strickland; grandson, Jason Jefferson;

She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Debbie Holland; Grandson, Jeffrey Holland; Granddaughter, Kelly Holland Letchworth (Brad) Great grandchildren, Christopher Davis, Chase Davis, Savannah Letchworth, Andrew Holland and Kaylee Holland.

The family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tuesday December 11, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00pm, and other times at the home David Weeks and Debbie Holland, 443 Raccoon Rd, Tarboro, NC.
