Margaret Louise Mullins, 101, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of June 14, 2024.  Margaret was born, on March 5, 1923, in Edgecombe County, to the late Basil and Susie Denton Pittman.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Willie Lee Mullins; her brother, Henry Pittman; and grandson's, Rodney Drake, Ray Drake and Brian Morris and great grandsons Sandiego and Herburto.  She is survived by her daughters; Jean Morris of Tarboro, Sissy Strickland of Williamston, Valerie Baker and her husband, Alton Baker, of Tarboro, granddaughter's; Toni Barfield of Tarboro, Kathy Morris of Tennessee, grandson's; Nick Baker of Tarboro, Mike Morris of Rocky Mount, Jeff Drake of Pinetops, great-grandchildren; Michael Whitley, Amber Sebourn, Douglas Vick, Geoffery, Jeff Jr., Kaitlyn, Ashlyn, Morgan, Mikala and James Michael Keel and great great-grandchildren; Matthew Cobb Baker and Leonard Moss Sebourn.

Margaret loved flowers, especially Elephant Ears, and she enjoyed working in her garden when she was able.  Her family was very important to her, and she cherished them all.

Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.

Burial will immediately follow at Edgecombe Memorial Park in Tarboro, NC.
