Margie Ann King, 68, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 14, 2020.

Margie was born in Tarboro on May 8,1952 to James Edward and Betty Edmondson Harris. Margie loved the Lord with all her heart. She touched many lives while serving in different areas in her church ministry, especially the youth. She can be remembered as a lady who sought God and did her best to do what was good and right. She was known for her love and devotion to her family and friends. She was a wonderful MeMa to her grandson Robbie, who was the joy and light of her life.Her family and friends mourn her passing deeply, but rejoice knowing she is whole again and with our Lord.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 11:00 am, Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Jordan Willard and Pastor Mike Currin officiating.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy King; brothers, James Edward Harris, Jr., Graham Harris and Lester Harris.

She is survived by her "Love" adopted daughter, Jamie O'Neal and her husband Robert; grandson, Robbie O'Neal; a host of nieces, nephews and her beloved Shih Tzu, Zoey.
