Margie Ann Webb Dunn, 73, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Margie at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 14, at Carlisle Funeral Home with the Rev. Carroll Bradbury officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunn Family Cemetery.

She was born in Edgecombe County to Thomas Webb and Mary Jane Corbett Webb. In addition to her parents, Margie was also preceded in death by her husband Carlton Ray Dunn.

Margie loved keeping busy and spent many hours with her friends and her "Tuesday Hardee's Crew". She also was a volunteer at Vidant Edgecombe hospital and enjoyed crocheting blankets and hats for newborns at the hospital. She was a member of Maccripine FWB church and loved her church family and serving Christ throughout her life. Also, anyone who knew Margie well knew that she was a huge Elvis fan. But what Margie loved more than anything else was her family. If you were with her for any length of time you would soon learn about her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Margie is survived by a loving family which includes her son, Jimmy Ray Dunn and wife Jackie, of Macclesfield; daughter, Beth Dunn Meeks and husband David, of Farmville; grandchildren, Heather Dunn Varnell, Cassie Dunn Ellis, Melissa Dunn, Daniel Meeks, Matthew Meeks and Joshua Meeks and one great-grandchild Keegan Varnell.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday night from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.
