Marlon Ray Barber, 57, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at ECU Medical Center, Greenville.

The family will be receiving friends at Carlisle Funeral Home, Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Marlon was born in Edgecombe County to Frank and Faye Barber, November 23, 1964. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wiggins.

Marlon is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda Pittman Barber; son, James Barber and wife, Heather; grandchildren, Rhianna Baker and Destiny Winstead; sister, Pam Davenport and her husband, Kenny; brothers, Keith Barber and his wife, Kim and Shane Barber and his wife, Shannon.

The family would like to thank the staff at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro and ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville for their special care and support during these difficult times. Also a special thank you to Dr. Thomas Gennosa and the staff for their care and support over the past 12 years.
