Martha C. Hall was born on December 4, 1944, to Charles and Blanche Hall in Clover, SC. She graduated from Clover High School. She was a retired evangelist holding the rank of Exhorter in the Church of God. In the late seventies and eighties, she was the Children's Church Director and over the Bus Ministry at Paw Creek Church of God in Charlotte, NC. In the mid-eighties, she moved to this area. She was the Children's Church Director at the Falkland Church of God for many years. She met the Brown and Jackson families and became part of the families. Martha met and became acquainted with Mary Elizabeth and Jonas Brown and their daughters, Shirley and Judy. After the death of Jonas, and in Mary's declining years, Martha helped take care of her.

She leaves to cherish her memory one brother, Rex Hall, from Clover, SC; five nieces and one nephew and their families; Carol Jackson, who became a precious and dear friend; Reg (Little Brother) Robinson, another precious and dear friend who was saved under her ministry; and all her extended family members and friends. She loved her church family at Falkland Church of God.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, two sisters, Donna Stewart and Peggy Johnson, and extended family members, her Aunt Vivian Jackson and Uncle Buddy Jackson.

She loved doing crafts, such as embroidery, painting, etc. She loved children and doing things with them. She loved doing things with Carol and her "Buddy" in everything from the first time she met Carol until her death. Martha enjoyed mowing grass on her riding lawnmower.

A special thanks to the Falkland Church of God, everyone who has prayed, called, sent food, visited, and Gentiva Hospice for the special care that was shown to Martha.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the Falkland Church of God from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Graveside service will follow at the Jackson Family Cemetery in Pinetops, NC.
