Mary Posey Britt, passed away in her sleep on September 18, 2022 at the age of 91.

Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Tarboro Church of God.

She was a member of the Tarboro Church of God for 25 years and was a native of Tarboro for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her sister, Marie Werkhesier and predeceased by brother, David Houser; 5 daughters, Bernice Ann Cobb of Tarboro, Mildred Karachun of Ayden, Janice Burnette of Tarboro, Linda Tosto of Rocky Mount, and Claudia Posey of Tarboro. Eleven grandchildren, Leslie Bottoms, Sandy Adcock, Jobeth Cobb,  Lisa Cobb, Kathy Marshall, Clifton DeMuth, Ashley Tosto, Jimmy Lee Burnette, Tammy Burnette, and two deceased, Bobby Gene DeMuth and Jackie Cobb. She has 31 great-grandchildren and 31 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Tarboro Church of God with burial following at Edgecombe Memorial Park
