Mary Lou Simpkins, 74 of Tarboro, NC passed away on Friday May 10th at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital.

Mary Lou dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to which she enjoyed. She enjoyed laughing, spending time with loved ones. Her favorite thing of all was her beloved Tigger and to crack jokes and her love for Elvis.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son Tony Edwards and wife Angela Edwards. Daughters, Jeanette Dominguez and Crystal Martinez. Along with her 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Her brother Clarence Faucet.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by mother and father Ruth Edwards Webb and George Allen Washington Edwards. Sisters Nannie Bell Webb, Betty Rae Mendenhall, Katie Gardner, and brother Robert Lee.and James Edward

The family will receive friends and family Sunday, May 12, 2024 from 1 PM until 3 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.
