Mary Johnson Mills, 91, of Tarboro, NC, passed away on December 26, 2023.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11:00am at Edgecombe Memorial Park with Pastor Steve Herring officiating.

Mary was a talented seamstress, enjoyed cross stitching, needlepoint and was an avid Perry Mason fan.  She enjoyed spending time on her back porch watching the birds and other animals but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her daughter Dianne Edmondson and husband Linwood Edmondson Jr. of Old Sparta, NC, granddaughter Pamela Edmondson of Old Sparta, NC, granddaughter Ashley Rasberry  and husband Robert Rasberry II of Farmville, NC, great granddaughter Lily Grace Rasberry of Farmville, NC and sister-in-law Sandra Robinson of Tarboro, NC.

Mary was preceded in death by her first husband Andrew Christenberry, late husband Cecil "Pete" Mills and son William Christenberry.
