Mary Alice Romines Linkous, 76, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Carlisle Funeral Home from 12:00 – 3:00 PM.

Mary AKA "Ganny" by her grandchildren and great grandchildren because she said "granny" just sounded too old, was known all around town from her many years of working with the public (everyone knew "Mrs. Mary") that she enjoyed very much.

Mary loved being with her children and family. She also loved spoiling her grandchildren anyway she could. She was the type of woman who would do anything for her family, even when she didn't have it herself. Mary was a sweetheart but feisty at the same time, knew what she wanted, and it was going to be that way or nothing at all!

Mary never met a stranger and was always outgoing and ready to talk. She was definitely one of the good ones. To know Mary, was to love her. She had the biggest heart and sweetest soul and anyone who knew her knew that.

"If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever."

Mary Alice was preceded in death by her sister, Jackie England and granddaughter, Ashley Linkous.

She is survived by her two sons, Rodney Linkous and James Linkous; daughter, Robin Bordeaux (Bobby); grandchildren, Jennifer "Punk" Bell (Randall), Jonathon Linkous (Sara), Micheal Linkous (Kelli), Jessica Bordeaux, Brittany Willman (Myles), and Christian Rhodes (Collin); great-grandchildren, Melanie Ellrod, Elijah Bell, Jeremiah Bell, Abigail Linkous, Franklin Linkous, Elijah Linkous, Ari Willman, Caden Rhodes, and Caleb Linkous; and sister, Terri Hollis.
