Mary Harrell Everette affectionately known as Mama Toot passed away Friday. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm, Carlisle Funeral Home with Reverend James Cale officiating. Family will receive friends at Carlisle Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 pm.

Mama Toot retired from Farm Bureau Insurance Agency in Tarboro after many years of service. She was a mother to all who knew her and had a special love for everyone. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was born in Edgecombe County to Earl and Mary Lillie Harrell, September 2, 1947. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Everette, grandson, Dustin Everette, brothers, Johnny, and Tom Harrell.

She is survived by her loving family including son, Dwayne Everette and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Shyanne Everette, Milee Everette, Kyleigh Everette, Devon Everette, Dylan Everette and Declyn Everette; great grandson, Daelan Everette, sister, Brenda Harrell; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Speight and husband, Michael, and Ellen Marie Strickland and Jared Heffinger who she loved like her own children.
