Mary “Anne” Warren, 74, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Edgecombe Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Jay Thompson.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Minnie Owens Cobb; husband, Arthur Warren Jr.; and sister, Linda Faulkner.

She is survived by her children, Glenda Faye Evans (Mitch), Peggy Sue Warren (Johnny), Arthur “Buddy” Warren III (Tami), and Kenny Warren (Michelle); sister, Janice West; 5 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mary retired from Sprint/Carolina Telephone Company and Farm Bureau after many years of dedicated service. She was a woman who loved her family dearly, and her church and church family held a special place in her heart. Mary enjoyed watching golf and tennis and was a devoted Duke basketball fan. She loved trips to the mountains, traveling in her younger years, and attending concerts. While she enjoyed getting out and making memories, she was also a true homebody who loved the comfort of home and the simple pleasures of everyday life.

Mary will be remembered for her love of family, her faith, and the many interests and memories that made her life special. Above all, she cherished the people she loved and the time spent with them. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
