Mary Vivian Jackson, 94, passed away Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 at her home of 49 years on the farm.

Vivian was born on April 28th, 1929 to Vennable and Bettie Webb. Vivian was a Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt and friend to many. She spent her life serving the Lord, spending most days outdoors and loving her family. You could often find her with a yard rake in hand, behind a push-mower, a straw hat on her head and no shoes on her feet. She had a hardworking spirit. Vivian loved to work in her garden, in her yard, on the farm and at the hog parlor. Her mind was always working on the next thing to do. Vivian made best home cooked meals and her pineapple cake was loved by all.

Vivian was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Vennable and Bettie Webb, Sisters, Edna, Lucille, and Sylvia, Brothers Carson and Kermit and loving Husband of 62 years Wiley (Buddy) Jackson.

Vivian leaves behind to cherish her memory, Daughter, Carol Jackson of the home, Special Friend, Martha Hall, Special great niece Tonya Wilcox (Greg Owens), Brittani, Ethan, Waylon Strickland, and Zackeri Wilcox. Special niece Judy and Gordon Braxton and Shirley and Kenneth Dixon. Niece Luella Sauls of Georgia, Sylvia (Flossie) Summerlin, Richard, Albert (bebop) Summerlin, Willie Summerlin, Steve and Dennis Sanderson, Kermit Jr, Robbie, David, and Billy. Vivian loved being around people, and her church family.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 2nd at Falkland Church of God from 1:00-2:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 2:00pm and graveside service to follow at Jackson family cemetery in Pinetops.
