Mr. Max Hoyt Moore, age 92 of Elm City, passed away at Prodigy Transitional Rehab of Tarboro.
He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Sue Eason Moore, son Russell Lynn Moore, mother Lula Goff Moore and father James Richard Moore, brothers Kenneth and Jesse Alton "Jigs" Moore, sisters Elizabeth Lowrance and Katherine Moore.
He is survived by his sons James Richard "Ricky" Moore II and wife Nancy of Pinetops and Max R. Moore "Randy" and wife Jennifer of Pinetops, grandchildren Jamie Regling, Steven Moore, J.B. Moore, Jessica M Breen and husband Rhyan, Randall Moore, J. R. Moore III, great grandchildren Katie Moore, Dylan Regling, Ashley Regling, Patrick Breen and Anna Breen, sister in Law Bettie Lee Proctor and husband Alan of Florida, niece; Martha Lowrance and Rita Elliott and husband David.
A Celebration of Max's Life will be held at Temperance Hall United Methodist Church on Saturday November 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM with the family receiving friends and relatives one hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Temperance Hall United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 13, Pinetops, NC 27864.
