"Max" Maximino Santiago Ramirez, age 39, passed away peaceful on Thursday, December 19, 2019. Max went to Tarboro High School. He started to work with Adams Gardening Service Inc., that is where he discovered his love for landscaping. He was a true definition of commitment that he would always finish what he started. No one could keep up with his work ethics, he was relentless until it got done and it had to be perfect. His motto was "if you are going to do something, you better do it right." He would always teach you how to do things right but it were not always in a nicest way; but that was his character. His way of expressing his love was being tough. He could build a house, fix a car, cut down trees and if he did not know how to do it, he will find a way and most of all bring back your yard to life.

He was born in Oaxaca, Mexico on April 04, 1980 to Ezequiel Santiago and Agustina Ramirez. He has lived in Tarboro all his life. He was the father of three children: Jennifer Santiago 17, David Santiago 12, and Maximino Jr. Santiago. Son of Ezequiel Santiago and Agustina Ramirez and brothers and sisters: Beatriz Santiago Ramirez, Olga Santiago Ramirez, Jehova Santiago Ramirez, Biviana Santiago Ramirez, Silverio Santiago Ramirez and Rodolfo Santiago Ramirez.

Weep Not For Me Weep not for me though I have gone into that gentle night Grieve if you will, but not for long Upon my soul's sweet fight. I am at peace, my soul's at rest there is no need for tears for with your love I was so blessed for all those many tears. There is no pain, I suffer not the fear is now all gone. Put now these things out of your thoughts in your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath. Remember not the strife. Please do not dwell upon my death but celebrate my life.

The family will receive friends and other relatives Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
