Maxine Wadsworth, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital with her family by her side.

Maxine was born in Nash County on February 17, 1948 to the late A.B. Manning and Betty Ellen Manning.

She is preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Eula Summerlin; husband, Edward Wadsworth; sisters, Hattie Horne and Geraldine Manning; brother, Howard Manning.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Little, Judy Wadsworth, Robert Wadsworth and Curtis Wadsworth; grandchildren, Brandon Little, Heather Pittman, Samantha Wadsworth, Steven Wadsworth; great-grandchildren, Alleeah Page, Annie Page, Dylan Webb, Christopher Webb, Kelly Wiggins; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and close friends.

A special thanks to Pamela Brunett and Vidant Edgecombe Hospital staff in the ICU unit.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8 from 3:00-4:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home, with a service starting at 4:00 PM.
