Melaine S. Denton, 65, passed away on April 2, 2025, in her home with her husband Jerry Denton of 42 years of marriage, her caregiver Elaine Todd and her CNA Nicole.

Melaine was born to the late Joseph Jay Scheibelhut and Margaret Elizabeth Fox on May 11, 1959, in Harrisburg PA.

She is survived by her loving family which includes her husband, Jerry Denton; step kids, Bryan Denton (Debbie), Tonya Wilcox, and Carol Ann Nichols. Half-sister; Leslie Kauffman of PA, Nieces and nephews; Scott Kauffman of NJ, Tim Kauffman of PA, Mandy Hurta of TX, Cara Kauffman of PA, all her other family, friends, and co-workers.

A visitation in celebration of Melanie's life will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 5:00PM - 8:00 PM at Carlisle Funeral Home.
