Michael Ray Batts, age 53, passed away on October 28, 2022, at ECU Health in Greenville surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife Angel Batts, their children Morgan Nobles (Dean), Maddie Batts (Hunter), Christian Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Taylor; his Granddaughter Everett Rae Nobles; his parents Ray and Diane Batts; his brother Brad Batts (Anna); his nieces Alice and Amelia; his nephews Gus (best buddy) and Griff as well as many other friends and family.

Michael was the owner and operator of Air Pro Heating and Air Conditioning for 19 years. He was a member of HVAC Contractors Association. Michael was an avid lover of hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs Molly, Marilyn and Blu. He was member of Pinetops Presbyterian Church and frequently visited Sunset Church of God in Tarboro. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends and family at Carlisle Funeral Home on Sunday, October 30, 2022, from the hours of 6 until 8 p.m. and other times at the home of his parents, Ray and Diane Batts in Pinetops, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Pinetops Presbyterian Church, Pinetops NC (Building Fund) or Sunset Church of God, Tarboro NC (General Funds)

The family will receive friends and family at Carlisle Funeral Home on Sunday,  October 30, 2022 from the hours of 6 until 8 PM. and other times at the home of his parents. A service will be held at a later date.
